The Blue Heart Campaign

The Blue Heart Campaign

The Blue Heart Campaign raises awareness to fight human trafficking and its impact on society. The Blue Heart represents the sadness of those trafficked and reminds us of the cold hearts of those who buy and sell fellow human beings. The blue is the blue used in the United Nations (UN) logo to show the commitment of the UN to combat this crime against humanity.

Why this artwork?

The amazing work done by this Campaign inspired the creation of Anna’s blue sash in this illustration. The artist used their blue to colour the sash, and placed the sash around Anna’s waist as a symbol of Anna’s role as a slave. In Timeline 67 Scene 1 Raoul has just bought Anna, but rescue is on its way. So the blue is also symbolic of rescue and all those securing the freedom of and supporting victims of trafficking.

50% of profit on these products support the Blue Heart Campaign
