Our Designer in Residence is Sustainable Fashion Designer Tracey Dockree.
Tracey graduated from Falmouth University with a First in Fashion Design, specialising in ethical and circular fashion.
Her other projects include Ethical Rebel and A Story In TShirts – also based in the Sewing & Design Studio.
Our Vision
Our Vision is to be part of a circular fashion hub in Cornwall, working with other artisans and designers to create garments 100% made in Cornwall from the growing of the seeds for yarn to the re-processing of unwanted textiles and clothes.

How we intend to achieve our vision and mission
A Cornish Circular and Regenerative Fashion Industry
- Review the Cornish fashion industy and either create or support others in filling in any gaps to make it circular and regenerative in every aspect possible
- Signpost directories that list Cornish fashion designers, artisans and makers and help fill in any gaps that would stop a company sourcing garment supplies 100% from Cornwall
- Highlight sustainable, circular and regenerative practices used by other designers, artisans and makers
In demand throughout the world for quality, ethos and aesthetics
- Design and create garments our customers absolutely love and are proud to wear because they look amazing, feel special yet comfortable and fit well
- Source from Cornish suppliers and artisans with a strong sustainable and ethical ethos
- Blow the trumpet for Cornish creatives wherever and whever we can
- Encourage and support local talent with training and future work
