My first Amateur Dramatic costume role was to help with the costumes for Cabaret. They had to be exciting and edgy and capture the glamour of the seedy 1930s underworld in Berlin. The teddies I designed and created for the Kit Kat girls were based on 1930s lingerie. But we had a lot of artistic licence with the costume design for other costumes.
