#areyouclueless is a Clueless meme raising awareness that some fashion brands and retailers make their clothes using unethical practices. Cher, played by the delightful Alicia Silverstone, may be Clueless but we know she cares about who made her clothes.
Feel free to share and start conversations around who made your clothes. Ask your favourite brands #whomademyclothes because brands will only sell us what we are willing to buy.

Created as part of the Hashtag Revolt Hackathon for Fashion Revolution Week 2021 to infiltrate the hashtags of the most unethical fast fashion brands. Over 500 posts were published across social media, including Don’t Buy That Dress! and supported by organisations such as @Greenpeace, @FairTradeCertified, @chicksforclimate, @ecoage, @canopyplanet, @marinatestino, @amandahearst, @stand.earth, What the Hack (who launched the hack-a-thon which amplified the noise!) and many others! The posts helped to successfully disrupt the fast fashion brands’ hashtag feeds on April 19th and to spark international curiosity among concerned citizens.
