Event Overview

Fashion Revolution CIC

Fashion Revolution Week is the #whomademyclothes campaign in April, which falls on the anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse, which killed 1138 people and injured many more on 24th April 2013. That is the day Fashion Revolution was born.

During this week, brands and producers are encouraged to respond with the hashtag #imadeyourclothes and to demonstrate transparency in their supply chain.

A multitude of activities leading up to and during Fashion Revolution Week 23-29th April, including Catwalks and panel discussions, film screenings and swapping evenings, school quizzes and fash-mobs – and fashion lovers, fashionistas and fashion students will unite in saying we want to wear a different story. Let’s do things differently from now on.

Fashion Revolution would love everyone to be involved and take part or create an event, however large or small. Let them know what you are doing so they can add it to their calendar and help make Fashion Revolution an international date in the calendar to celebrate fashion as a force for good.
